the d2v files (DVD2AVI projects) can be read by every program unlike the mpeg2 files.
Thanks for your response.[/equote:b5ff3f6534]

hmm..
you have to look closer on the tool !!
this has been implemented since a long time...
just check out the "video2" tab on its right side..
Note, that it will only work on demux, but with all input video types

or demux audio only ? (the d2v file pointe to .ts file)
Thanks[/equote:b5ff3f6534]

not in ds. (no frame analysis on direct conversion)
AFAIK, the actual "official "mpegdec**.dll (that comes with dvd2avi) only work with MPEG-2 PS/VOB + MPEG-2 ES, but NOT TS (as input parse format), that's a job of ds. (on demux)
BTW: check out doom9.org -> forum; DVD2AVI is still under development on exactly that feature (TS-parse + HDTV).
If that's finished, the new .dll probably "understand" TS as input defined in the .d2v or for demux ect.![/equote:b5ff3f6534]
