mpeg2schnitt monitor switching problem

hi there - appologies for writing in english here, hope some of you will understand it...
everytime i am using mpeg2schnitt it couses my monitor to go blank for a second (like it is switching resolutions) - this happens when i load a film into it or remove a film. Its a bit annoying and not sure if it is good for the monitor as well
any ideas how can i stop it?

Ich beobachte genau dasselbe auf meinem erneurten PC mit Service pack 2. Komischerweise beobachtete ich beim alten System mit Service Pack 1 niemals dieses charakteristische Verdunkeln des Bildschirms für 2 Sekunden.

Ich habe Windows XP mit Service Pack 1 und noch nie solche Probleme gehabt. Jeder, den ich kenne, der sich das Service Pack 2 installiert hat, hatte danach irgendwelche Schwierigkeiten.

Hallo,

sucht mal nach "schwarz" und "Monitor" hier im Forum. Ihr werdet einiges dazu finden. Meistens ist es durch andere Treiber für die Grafikkarte weggegangen. Aber ebend nicht immer.
Es wäre schön wenn jemand dem "mmoalem" etwas dazu in englisch schreiben könnte.

Some other people have this black screen problem too. Perhaps other graphic card drivers (newer, older or modified version) will solve your problem. Sometimes it will help....
